Começou nas categorias de base do Montevideo Wanderers (URU) no ano de 2004 e em 2010 foi contratado para jogar na base do Club Nacional de Football (URU). Com apenas 17 anos, fez sua estreia como profissional contra o Central Español (URU). No mesmo dia de sua estreia, fez seu primeiro gol, se tornando um dos mais jovens a marcar com a camisa do Nacional. Disputou o Sul-Americano Sub-20 de 2013, onde foi artilheiro da competição com seis gols, e a Copa do Mundo FIFA Sub- 20 de 2013, conquistando o segundo lugar. Também recebeu a Bola de Prata como o segundo lugar melhor jogador do torneio. Atualmente, joga no León (MEX) após uma passagem vitoriosa pelo Tigres UANL (MEX), onde conquistou grandes títulos como a Concacaf Champions2020 e a Liga MX (Clausura) 2023.
